Solar Charge Controller SC
The SC Charge Controller works after the wide modulated serial, regular
procedures with U/I charateristic curve. The difference between the
switch regulation process is, that if the charging end voltage is
attained the input terminal for the module fixture hasn’t have a short
circuit, but if you open an electronic switch the module fixture has
been disconnected with the charge controller.
So, instead of a module you can put a charger or other current sources
to load the battery. The Solar Charge Controller has standard functions
like low voltage protection with load breaking, overload protection, gas
cotrol and temperature compensation.
The positive pole will be disconnected if the low voltage barrier is
attained. Therefore the attachment is optimal abled for backfitting of
existing 12/24 Volt installations in caravans and ships which regularly
the negative pole be affilated to the bodywork.
Normal Charge Controller with low voltage protection, which in deep
discharge fall break up the negative pole, are ineffective in that
case, because the consumer load is furthermore connect to the negative
pole over the bodywork. A complex new cabling of the negative pole of
the consumer load is unnecessary if you use the Solar Charge Controller.
The Controller is suitable with 24 V systems, lead acid, lead vlies and
lead gel batteries.
