Rutland WG 503 Wind Turbine
A completely unique mini windcharger designed with the weekend sailor in mind. The Rutland 503 is ideal for trickle charging batteries on board vessels less that 10m in length with battery banks of up to 100Ah. This latest model follows the success of its predecessor the Rutland 500 with a number of enhancements including performance and styling.
- "Safety turbine" - the 6 blades are formed by a single glass re-enforced nylon molding that connects the blade tips. For yachtsmen this feature, alone with the compact turning radius of just 10 inches (255 mm) facilitates installation on board where deck space can be at a premium.
- Purpose designed low friction generator starts charging at just 5.8 Knots (3 m/s or 6.7 mph) wind speed.
- Latest 3 phase Rutland generator design gives smooth, quiet, continuous power.
- Produces up to 60w, nominally 5A @ 12V in 50 Knots
- Stainless steel fasteners and marine grade materials
