An inverter’s main job should be
to ensure the optimum energy yield from your solar power system. Multistring
technology was developed by SMA to achieve consistently excellent results
even under complex system conditions.
Especially given the variety of module types that are currently available, unequal
numbers of modules and/or modules facing in different directions in the module
strings, individual and independently operating MPP (maximum power point) controllers
are essential.
The SB 5000TL HC also has an extended input power range to
enable the use of all current cell technologies. With efficiency improved still
further to 96 % and increased input sensitivity, electricity can be fed into
the grid even with minimal sunshine.
